Patricia "Pat" Westen

Patricia “Pat was born on January 3, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan and went

home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2023 at the age of 84. She was

currently of Riverview and formerly of Allen Park. Beloved wife of the

late Ronald. Cherished mother of Wendy (David) Rees, Lori (Jeffrey)

Daniel and Gregory (Holly) Westen. Proud grandma of the late Justin,

Brennan (Kimberly), Brady (Hannah), Trevor (Annette), Meghan

(Jonathan), Courtney (Andrew), Garrett (Korryne), Jett and Kira. Great

grandma of 17. Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Francis

(Flanigan) Gilbert. Also survived by many friends. She was a long-time

and faithful member of Inter-City Baptist. Pat was an avid sports fan

and supported the Inter-City Chargers where her children and many of

her grandchildren attended. Ron and Pat attended Michigan State

University and she remained a lifetime Spartan. She loved spending

time with her family, especially at her home on Traverse Bay, and

enjoyed shopping sprees and dining out. Pat was a snowbird and spent

winters in Longboat Key, Florida. Memorial contributions to honor her
