Patricia Beuther Cox, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 85. Pat lived a life deeply rooted in love for her family and a boundless passion for creativity. Born on February 17, 1939, Pat’s vibrant spirit was evident from a young age. She embraced life with a remarkable blend of imagination and artistry. Whether she was crafting intricate paintings, composing melodies on her piano, or leading family game night, Pat’s creative touch was felt by everyone who knew her. Her family was her greatest joy. Pat was a devoted mother to her children, and a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren. Her home was a haven of warmth and inspiration, where family gatherings were filled with laughter, music, games and movies. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Pat had a deep love for the water. Many happy summers were spent boating with her family, creating lifelong memories on the lakes and rivers that she adored. Pat’s legacy is one of boundless creativity, deep family bonds, and a life lived fully. She is survived by her children - John R. Cox II, Caroline Mary Whittemore (Brian Bunch) and Kimberly Louise Vasicek, grandchildren - Ashley, Kirk, Christie and Jacob, great grandchildren Chase, Gage, Willow and Skyler, sister Janice Beuther, and nieces and nephews who will remember her for her kindness, artistry, and the joy she brought into their lives. She is preceded in death by her brother James Beuther. Pat's light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered. A celebration of life in honor of Patricia's memory will be held at a later date.
