Patricia Ann Schmitz

Click on the tribute wall above to view Patricia Ann’s video tribute. Patricia Ann Schmitz, age 78 of Monroe, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 in her home, surrounded by her family. Born March 26, 1943 in Monroe, Patricia was the daughter of Victor and Delphine (Hopp) Wolf. A graduate of St. Mary’s Academy, Patricia married the love of her life, Leland Schmitz, on July 14, 1962 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A dedicated homemaker, she also had worked for American Greetings. Patricia was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and its Altar Society, the White Pine Garden Club, the Monroe Center for Healthy Living and Camboni Missionaries Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bunco with her friends and shopping, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Patricia leaves to cherish her memory, Leland, her husband of the past 58 years; children: Colette (Douglas) White, Todd (Renea) Schmitz and Celeste (Randy) Mayes; four grandchildren: Amanda (Randy) Warner, Amber Bussow, Ashley Bussow and Jason Schmitz; six great grandchildren: Lexie Bussow, Allie Goble, Gabriel Goble, Abigail Warner, Chandler Barnett and Cylas Ball; as well as a sister Denise (William) Sisung. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings Tanis Wolf and Bonnie Wolf.
