Patricia Ann Krause

Krause, Patricia Ann, age 67, June 12, 2015, a lifelong resident and former mayor of Lincoln Park, Michigan. Loving mom of Ryan and Adam. She was also blessed to have many loving relatives and friends. Born February 24th, 1948 in Detroit, MI, Patricia received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Wayne State University in 1992. She worked as a writer and reporter for the News-Herald and various other local publications, including the Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News. She eventually found work at Ford Motor Company, where she worked until her retirement. She loved reading, travelling, and most of all animals. She was a proud advocate of animal foster care and animal adoption, and contributed much time and effort to make sure all animals had safe, loving homes. She also dedicated herself to her community of Lincoln Park, and worked tirelessly for decades to try and make sure that her hometown was a place to be proud of. In lieu of flowers, Patricia wishes that people make a donation to one of the following charities: 1.) Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society/Detroit, Michigan 2.)
