Patricia Ann Bumpus

Patricia Ann Bumpus of Allen Park, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the age of 94. She passed away surrounded by her son, Roger, and his loving family in their home in Dexter, Michigan. Patty joins her husband, Howard, and daughter, Nancy, in heaven.

Pat was a devout Christian who loved and served Jesus and people above herself. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend whose kind eyes and contagious laugh will be dearly missed.

She is a cherished mother of three sons as well as her daughter, Nancy: Alan (Pam) Bumpus, Randy Bumpus, and Roger (Julie) Bumpus. She is also a grandmother to Ashley, Tiffany, Shelby, Amanda, Hannah, Elizabeth, Christina, John, Daniel, and Grace, as well as great-grandmother to 12. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard, daughter Nancy Young, her parents James and Gladys Miles, and her siblings James Miles and Mary Jean Young. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Church located at 15500 Howard St., Southgate, MI 48195. The funeral service will take place at noon. The family would like to invite all to attend Patricia’s committal service at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Huron Twp. later that same day at 2:45 p.m. We will meet inside the gates of the cemetery and our procession will follow inside the park for chapel prayers and finally, Patricia’s interment.
