Patricia A. Rothenberger

atricia A. Rothenberger, age 80, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Michigan Medicine, Ann Arbor. She was born August 3, 1938 in Monroe, MI to Michael and Irene (Jones) Balent. Patricia married John H. Rothenberger April 8, 1961 in Toledo, OH. Sadly he preceded her in death on June 20, 2005. Patricia worked at River Raisin Title Company and then at River Raisin Paper Company from 1985-1995. She enjoyed walking, reading, crosswords and especially loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Amy Rothenberger of Monroe and John M. (Sherri) Rothenberger of S. Pasadena, FL; grandchildren Amanda (Derrick) Fosgate of Monroe, Nicholas (Kelli) Knapp of LaSalle and Elijah (Lindsey) Rothenberger of S. Pasadena, FL; great grandchildren Taylor Brodie, Patrick Knapp, Lacie Fosgate, Henry Doom, Blake Fosgate and Addisyn Fosgate; brother Donald Balent of The Villages, FL and sister-in-laws Dorothy Balent, Karen Balent and Alice Rothenberger. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband John H. Rothenberger, parents Michael and Irene Balent and brothers Thomas Balent and Michael Balent. A memorial gathering is being held at the Rothenberger Family Residence in Monroe on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
