Patricia A. "Mimi" Laughlin

Patricia Ann Laughlin of Trenton, MI, passed away on January 21st 2024 . Beloved wife of Leonard “Red” Laughlin of 33 years. Loving mother of Anna Malnar (Matthew Malnar) and amazing Mimi to Ariana & Caiden Malnar. She was also a loving step-mother to Casey Luther (Adam & Harvey).

She leaves behind 5 incredible siblings, Mary Reed (Bub), Rose Parker (Gary), Michele Raupp, Suzanne Zane, & Michael Raupp (Margaret).

She was a loving aunt to 5 nieces and nephews, Marybeth Winsjansen (Brian), Marty Reed (Molly), Sarah Armstrong (Tyler), Rachel Zane, & Amanda Browning.

She leaves behind 2 great nieces & nephews, James Russell Winsjansen, & Penelope Armstrong.

Patricia worked at Advia Credit Union for 32 years, she worked as a Mortgage Lending Specialist. She loved what she did and she carried out so many friendships with so many people from working at the credit union. Her favorite thing about working for Advia was all the members she was able to help.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Laughlin, her mother Mary Ann Raupp, and her father Russell Martin Raupp.

Patricia will be deeply missed by so many. She impacted so many peoples lives. She had the biggest heart. Patty was taken from us way too soon in life, but now she is free from pain and suffering. In her final act of love, she was able to be an organ donor as she wished.

There will be a memorial gathering held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, 48183. The memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Myasthenia Gravis Association, Gift of Life Michigan, or the Dementia Society of America would be appreciated.
