Pastor Dot Holly

Pastor Dot was born on May 6, 1939 and went Home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2024 at the age of 85; she was of Romulus. Dearest Sister of the late Ruth Mounts, the late Geraldine Daugherty, the late Freddy Holley, the late Jack Holley, the late Bobbie Staton, the late Candy Daugherty and the late Oscar Holley. Dearest Sister-In-Law of Jackie Holley. Pastor Dot is survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, her great great nephew Adrian, her great great niece Juniper as well as many other great great nieces, great great nephews, a host of other loving family, church family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Nellie (nee: Dalton) Holley. Pastor Dot was a dedicated woman of God who served the Lord; she was the Pastor of the Worshippers and Warriors of Christ Church in Taylor and previously served as the Bible Study Teacher at Downriver Praise Center in Southgate. Pastor Dot cherished her family and was the adopted mother to many. She will be greatly missed in the lives of those she touched through the years as she went about doing God’s work. Visitation is on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 3 pm to 8 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard) and on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at the funeral home; Rev. Ronnie D. Mounts will officiate. Interment will be at Golden Ridge Cemetery in Taylor, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
