Pascal (Lucien) Jean Flameygh, age 85 of Monroe, passed away January 5, 2021 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. Born March 17, 1935 in Sint Truiden, Belgium, Pascal was the son of Maurice and Margaritehea Verhost -Flameygh. He was brought to the United States in 1965 by his Aunt Elizabeth (Flameygh) Vandevelde and was employed for over 30 years at the IHM Sisters Mother House until his retirement in 1995. Pascal proudly became a US Citizen in 1971. Pascal was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Michael Catholic Church, Monroe Senior Center, the Third Order of St. Francis, the Belgium American Club and the Camboni Missionaries. Pascal is survived by a sister Lucienne VanMassenhove-Flameygh; and nephews: Henk Vanmassenhove-Flameygh, Koen Vanmassenhove-Flameygh and niece Els Vanmassenhove-Bulke as well as many cousins. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Pascal may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church Building Fund, Camboni Missionaries or the IHM Sisters Retirement Fund
