Pamela J. Lingar

Born in Monroe, Pamela was the daughter of Clyde and Betty (Wolfe) Grodi. A 1964 graduate of Jefferson High School, she married the love of her life, Donald Lingar, on October 24, 1965 at Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe. A dedicated homemaker, Pamela also had worked for Jefferson Schools as a Playground Aide and then as a Cook in the cafeteria for over 25 years, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed traveling and going to the casino, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Pamela leaves to cherish her memory, Donald, her husband of the past 53 years; children: April (Joel) Fix of Newport and Annette (Jeff) Peters of LaSalle; grandchildren: Jamie (Bryan) Owens, Heather (Wayne) Ivey, Ryan Hopper, Justin Fix, Erik Hopper and Camryn Hopper; a great grandchild Sydney Owens; as well as two brothers: Jeffrey Grodi of Monroe and Russell Grodi of Monroe. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents.
