Oscar was born January 3, 1942 in Coleman, Kentucky; he moved to Michigan at a young age where he spent the rest of his life with his family. He went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Linda on December 15, 2023 at the age of 81. Cherished dad of Alissa (Joey) Bachnak and Christopher (Linda) Coleman. Proud Gramp“O” of Karissa (Josh), Zachary, Brian and Isabella and PoPo of Gracelyn, Brynalyn and Isaac. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Clara Mae Coleman. Dearest brother of the late Donald Lee (the late Margie) Coleman, Bob Jr. (Karen) Coleman, Margie (Greg) Ratliff, Sandra (Rory) O’Connor. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, other loving family, friends and neighbors. Oscar’s love in life was his family; he loved the Lord and was a devout Christian his whole life. He retired from Commonwealth Industries / MASCO. Oscar was an avid hunter and classic car enthusiast who was a Michigan Sports fan that loved to play basketball when he was younger; he also loved U of M and the Detroit Lions. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s hospital.
