Orlena Harrison

Born in Corbin, Kentucky, Orlena was the daughter of Schofield & Georgina (Gilwreath) Reed. She married the love of her life, Leon Harrison, in August of 1955. Sadly he preceded her in death November 21, 2002. Orlena was a Nurse's Aide for 20+ years with Beach Nursing Home. She then worked at the IHM Motherhouse until her retirement in 2004. Orlena enjoyed playing bingo as well as working in her yard. Orlena leaves to cherish her memory five children: Michael (Cheryl) Harrison of Monroe, Sharon Stricklen of New Tazwell, Tennessee, Jeff Harrison of Monroe, Melissa (Billy) Harrison of Monroe and Michelle (Robert) Harrison of Monroe; as well as 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and 6 brothers & sisters. In addition to her husband and parents, Orlena was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters.
