Noreen Faye Mcnabb

Rose City, Michigan. Noreen Faye McNabb, Beloved matriarch of our prodigious family went to be with her Lord and join her husband of 72 years, Richard Leo McNabb. She is survived by their eight children and their families; Jennifer Setser (Jeff), Frank McNabb (Janet), Patricia Holsbeke (Rich), Margaret Burbo (Chip Waldron), Leo McNabb (Dawn), Arthur McNabb (Karen),Emily Van Washenova (Russ), Rebecca Murray, sister Agnes Bondy and best friend, Mary Kline. She was ‘old Gram’ to many grand children, great grand and great-great grand children, whom all loved her dearly. Also many nieces and nephews who loved Aunt Renee. Renee was a force of Nature! She ran a tight ship while raising our large family. Though we were many, mom and dad always knew how to keep a happy home. We attended church every Sunday, went camping, had ice skating/ sledding parties, Sunday drives looking for wildlife, trips to the Dairy Queen and more. We enjoyed a rich upbringing! She LOVED to travel and travel she did. From San Francisco, to Alaska, Arizona, through the North West, never missing a National park. At 71, she roamed the cities of Paris and London. At retirement, mom and dad enjoyed many winters with their Florida family. Renee took up painting, and with sister Aggie, spent hours in her ‘shed’. Her brother Ray Bostic was an accomplished artist also. Another gift she had was quilting. She lovingly crafted a quilt for each of her children; treasures to be handed down through the years. Renee is preceded in death by her husband Leo McNabb, parents, Emily and Russell Bostic, sister Ruth Neumann, brother Raymond Bostic, and many dear friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 19 from 1:00p -4:00 at the Ford chapel- Martenson Funeral Home. 23620 N. Huron River Dr. Rockwood, Mi. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Riverside Cemetery, S. Rockwood, Mi.
