Nial K. Abbuhl

Nial K. Abbuhl of Wyandotte, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 62 years to Jacqueline Abbuhl. Loving father of Jeffrey Abbuhl, Karen (John) Guardiola, and Kathy (Scott) Willis. Cherished grandfather of Paige Guardiola, Nathan Guardiola, Nathan Yerigian, and Abby Willis. Dear brother of Dale Abbuhl, Chris (Renee) Abbuhl, and Phyllis Abbuhl. Caring uncle of Heather (Tony) Nuckolls, Chad (Holly) Abbuhl, and Aimee (Eric) Wecker. Nial was a beloved family man who bravely served his country with the United States Army and continued to serve his community with the Shriners, helping to give deserving children the care they need. He was a dedicated employee of Great Lakes Steel as well as a member of the Masons (Trenton/Wyandotte #8) and VFW Post #7310. He impacted not only his family, but his community for numerous years with his care and love. He will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends.

Visitation for Nial will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, 48183. There will be a Masonic service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. that evening at the funeral home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Sunday, February 19, 2023 and will conclude with graveside military rites performed by the Downriver Veterans Honor Guard at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, Michigan.
