Nason Frank Mr. Smith

Smith, Nason Frank, age 90 of Woodhaven, passed away February 25, 2012. Beloved husband of Shirley. Loving father of Dwight (Donna), Jerry (Bonnie), Cathy (Dennis) Sawka and Susan (George) Ravagni. Dear brother of Richard, Gen Hanson and Shirley McLeod. Dearest grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 12. Brown City Camp was an important part of Nason's life. He attended the annual family camp for over 30 years. After retirement he worked 12+ hour shifts in the kitchen during family camp and he was one of the 'regulars' for work bees and the camp expansion project. Memorial contributions made to the campground will allow underprivileged children to attend summer camp. Nason was a longtime contributor to the Brown City Camp and we know he would be honored to know that he helped children in this manner. Children who receive a scholarship will have the opportunity to 'light a candle' and tell about their camping experience. Additional details can be found under his picture.
