Nancy Lou Honsowetz

Nancy Honsowetz passed away peacefully at home in the care of her family on September 5, 2022 just shy of her 97th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton, whom she met while working at Wyandotte Chemicals, where they both sang in the choir.

Sister to the late Phillip Graham, Mother of Michael (Debra), David (Jodie), Steven (Laurie) and Brian (Kathy). Adored Grandmother to Alyssa (Kristy), Grant (Cecilia) and Emma.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, active in The First Presbyterian Church in Wyandotte and later in Trenton. She and Milton enjoyed their bridge club for many years.

After raising her four sons, she worked as a receptionist at Raubolt and Macdonald, P.C. and later at Scot Viking Gift Shop in Trenton where she loved interacting with customers. Nancy always looked forward to playing golf on Wednesdays with her girlfriends, some she knew since attending Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte.

All who knew her will miss her grace and her positive outlook.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Internment at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.

Donations in Nancy's honor can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
