Nancy Jane Cacioppo

Nancy Jane Cummings Cacioppo of Grosse Ile, MI passed away on February 14, 2013 at age 80. Born in Akron, OH in 1932, Nancy was a gifted musician with a talent for singing and playing piano. She met her beloved husband, Pat, in 1950, and they were married shortly thereafter. After raising three children, she went back to school and completed her degree in journalism from Kent State University. She touched the lives of many with her singing and volunteer work at the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls, OH; bringing performances of the Cleveland Orchestra to the northeast Ohio school systems; and teaching piano to scores of young people in Ohio and Michigan. Nancy is survived by her husband, Joseph Pat; three children: Curt (Christine), of Haverford, PA; Anne (Paul) Manganaro, of Potomac MD; and Martha (Richard) Roginski, of Manassas, VA; three grandchildren, Charles and Nicholas Cacioppo and Paul Joseph Manganaro; her sister Carol Feeman, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins. The family will hold a memorial service at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy's name to American Cancer Society
