Myrtie Marie Smith

Born in Ann Arbor, Myrtie was the daughter of George and May (Fedderer) Clark. She married the love of her life, Stanley J. Smith on August 26, 1937. Sadly he preceded her in death March 4, 1976. A dedicated homemaker, Myrtie was a caretaker of many people as well as her family. She enjoyed working in her garden and on her house. Myrtie leaves to cherish her memory her son William L. (Virginia) Smith of Clarion Pennsylvania; grandchildren: William J. (Alissa) Smith and Sarah P. (David) Bashline; as well as great grandchildren: Richelle Bashline and Lea Bashline all of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by a sister Loulabelle Krakowiak of Chelsea; nephews Frederick Clark of Monroe and Greg Worley; nieces Janet Marion and Tammy Clark of Monroe and many other nieces; cousins Dolores Hasley of Monroe and Evelyn Zion of Monroe. In addition to her husband and parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by a brother Ervin Clark; Claude and Carrie Hasley and Cheryl and Denny Van Allen; a granddaughter Amy Jo Smith; great grandson Jayden D. Bashline and a niece Karen Warner.
