Rebecca "Becky" Everette passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. Becky was born in Lockhart, TX to Medardo and Maria Del Rufugio (Valdez) Munoz. She grew up in New Braunfels, TX with her 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She graduated from God's Bible School in Cincinnati, OH where she met her future husband, Thomas L. Everette. They were married June 6, 1954 and traveled extensively together during Thomas' 20-year Air Force career. Becky personified creativity, defined by Albert Einstein as "Intelligence having fun." She was a very gifted seamstress who could create anything without a pattern. Becky made both men's and women's suits, dresses, shirts and wedding gowns for herself and her family. She also enjoyed crocheting and quilting and made afghans for the church's mission trips. Becky was a great woman of faith devoted to The Lord Jesus Christ. He was her best friend. She never missed Bible class or worship service and was loved by all members of the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center (SRCMC). She was a compassionate woman, exceedingly blessed and highly favored by God. She spent hours in prayer making supplications for her family, friends and anyone in need. When she felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit, she would lovingly admonish and teach people in the Word of the Lord. Becky is lovingly survived by her children, James (Judi) Everette of Safety Harbor, FL, Tina (Kim Raymond) Shepard of LaSalle, MI and Robynn Everette of Luna Pier, MI; siblings, David (Janie) Munoz of Toledo, OH, Medardo (Berta) Munoz of Corona, CA, Lydia Rodriguez of Monroe, MI, Ann Archuleta of New Braunfels, TX and Lena Nelson of Benson, AZ; grandchildren, Brittany Everette, Everette Breitner, Cheyenne Breitner, Josiah Busenbark and Faith Busenbark; and great grandson, Seth Bolicki. She was also preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings (Henry Munoz, Raul Munoz, Teresa Suarez and Paula Gaitan) and great grandson, Skyler Bolicki. In keeping with Becky's wishes, cremation has been held. There will be a Celebration of her Life at SRCMC held on November 9, 2014. Those wishing to make a donation in Becky's name, in lieu of flowers, are asked to make them to SRCMC.
