Ms Leona "Cookie" Myers

Leona "Cookie" Myers, age 66, of Monroe, Michigan passed away Tuesday July 2, 2013 at Medilodge of Monroe, she had been in declining health. Cookie was born March 15, 1947 in Monroe to Otto and Florence (Wilson) Myers. She graduated from Monroe High School and loved to visit the Casino's. She was employed as a cook at Medilodge, Greenbrook Manor, Restaurant Italia ant the Cracker Barrel Restaurant, she also was a care cook and care giver at The Elm House in Monroe for many years. Cookie is survived by her son, Aaron Scott Myers of Monroe; siblings, Otto (Yolanda) Myers Jr of Monroe, Wanda (Larry) Ruettinger of Newport and Carol Collins of Monroe; she also is survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Kenneth Myers, Norman Myers, Ronald Myers, Betty Jane Brooks and Dorothy Cassidy.
