Ms. Joan Elaine Brown

Joan E. Brown, age 73, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Saturday January 31, 2015. Joan was born June 3, 1941 in Maybee, MI to Wilfred and Loretta (Roach) Hickman. She married Richard Brown and they had made their home in Dundee, MI and Sault Sainte Marie, MI area for many years, sadly he preceded her in death on October 17, 2013. Joan had retired as an agent with Prudential Insurance CO. after 15 years of service. Joan is survived by her children, Bonnie Hawthorne, Vicki (Charlie) Douglas, Susan (Dennis) Holdsworth and Richard (Beth) Brown; siblings, Patricia (Tony) Chizen and Wallace (Therese) Hickman; grandchildren, Jason, Megan and Emily Hawthorne, Sara Douglas, Susan (Jeremy) Burpo, Christopher Douglas, Daniel Holdsworth, Douglas (Amanda) Holdsworth, Ryan Holdsworth, Eric (Alicia) Brown, Andrew Brown, Justin Brown, Andrea (Joshua) McGlinch and Dan Shippey; great grandchildren, Avery Holdsworth, Maisie Holdsworth, James McGlinch, Kirsten McGlinch, Austin Brown, Delayney Daniel, Hannah Daniel, Hailey Daniel, Donnavan Daniel, Drew Brown, Delanie Shippey and Dane Shippey. She was preceded in death by her parents Wilfred Hickman and Loretta Hickman-Presswood and son James Gera.
