Ms. Irene M. Shoemaker

Shoemaker, Irene Meranda, age 89, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Grosse Ile. Went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 21, 2010. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Judith, son, Gary, and former husband, Robert. She is survived by her dear sister, Catherine Goodwin, son, Dale (Melodie), and grandchildren, Chris (Leigh), Nathan, and Joshua and many nieces and nephews. Irene was an elementary teacher with the Trenton Schools for more than 30 years and her love for people and ready smile will be greatly missed.
