Mrs. Shirley L. Smith

Smith, Shirley L. Age 71. January 27, 2013 of Allen Park. Beloved wife of 49 years to DeWayne. Loving mother of the late Garrick A. and Kevin (Cassandra). Proud grandmother of Garrick DeWayne. Dearest sister to Marvin, Ronald (Brinda) and Royce (Regina) McKinney and Joyce Leonard. Preceded in death by her parents Ocea and Louise McKinney. Shirley was an educator for 31 years with the River Rouge School District and was the past president of the Allen Park Friends of the Library. Shirley served on the Allen Park Tax Review Board and most importantly was a master gardener. Memorial contributions to honor her memory may be made to Autism Society of America
