Mrs. Sharon O. Ernest

Sharon O. Ernest, age 70, of Rockwood, passed away Thursday July 18, 2013 at Oakwood Southshore Hospital ER. Sharon was born April 14, 1943 in Wayne, MI to Albert and Viola (Kittle) Johnson; she attended Kittle Grade School in New Boston, MI. Sharon married the love of her life, Raymond J. Ernest on July 20, 1963 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Rockwood. Sharon was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church Rockwood; she enjoyed caring for her flower gardens, baking, cooking, crafts and shopping. Sharon was a homemaker but spent many days baby sitting for family, friends and neighbors, but most of all she absolutely loved her grandsons more than anything. Sharon is survived by her husband Raymond; daughters, Michelle Thompson and Dannielle Ernest both of Romulus, MI; siblings, Lemuel Johnson of New Boston, Larry Johnson of Woodhaven and Sue Ann (Larry) Cohen of Flat Rock: mother, Viola Johnson of Flat Rock; grandsons, Vance Cross, Nicholas Clark and Joseph Thompson. She was preceded in death by her father Albert in 1989 and a brother.
