Mrs. Rita Mae Radosevich

Rita Mae Radosevich, age 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the IHM Health Care Center in Monroe. The daughter of Roland and Irma (Salow) Boos, she was born May 15, 1932 in Monroe. She married Harry Radosevich. He preceded her in death April of 1986. Rita graduated in 1950 from St. Mary Academy. She had a very giving heart and strong work ethic, which she passed on to her children. Rita worked in supermarket meat, deli and bakery departments for over 40 years in Michigan, Ohio and Florida. A lifetime Detroit Tiger fan, she was a gifted quilter and created many beautiful crafts throughout the years. Rita was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish and Frenchtown Senior Center. Rita is survived by her loving children: Joy (Charles) Langton of Newport, Frank (Cindy Dodgen Hemry) Radosevich of Monroe and Francine (Todd) Fechter of Naples, Florida; sister-in-law Gloria Radosevich of Troy; grandchildren: Chuck, Meghan, Kyle and Lauren Langton; Autumn and Hannah Radosevich; Christine (Jim) Ballard and Richard and Todd Fechter, Jr., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Joan Marie Boron, Mary Alice Gonia, infants Rose Marie and Darlinda; and brothers Richard Boos and Thomas Worrell and a great grandson Lucas Allen Langton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the IHM Health Care Center, or ProMedica Hospice of Monroe.
