Dominski, Regina Mary Magdalen, of Allen Park (formerly from "32nd Street" in Detroit), passed peacefully on June 20, 2013 at the age of 84. She created a happy, fun-filled home for her beloved late husband, Tom, and six children: the late Claudia Bryant(Gene[dec'd]), David (Elizabeth), Tom (Susan), Kathy LeBoeuf (Jerry), Beti Jean (Lee), Susan Tamer (Norm). Loving grandmother of 13 (Jenny, Carrie, Michael, Sarah, Rachel, Rebecca, Matthew, Joe, Jamie, Kelly, Kristie, Kate, Kevin) and 13 great-grandchildren. She was born Regina Mary Magdalen Kowalczyk on December 27, 1928 to Alexander and Mary Kowalczyk in a family of 11 children. Loving sister of John Kowalczyk, and predeceased by her sister Anna Glaz, and brothers Al, Tony, Frank, Steve, Tubby, Vince, Casimir and Leonard.. She was a dedicated volunteer of the St. Vincent DePaul Society serving through the food depot at St. Mary's in Melvindale. She was also a proud retiree of the Melvindale/Northern Allen Park School district where she worked many years as a hall monitor and in maintenance. She was well known in the neighborhood for her semi-annual garage sales with proceeds to benefit the needy. She took great pleasure in gardening her roses and in passing on the traditions of her beloved Polish heritage. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society. Bless you, have a nice day.
