Mrs. Patti Cooney

Cooney (nee: Faulder), Patti of Trenton, passed away June 19 after a long illness. Preceded in death by her loving husband Edward J., she leaves behind five children, Kevin, Tim, Mary Mehrhof, Peggy Durocher and Trisha, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandsons. She is also survived by her two sisters, Joanne (Wes) Beadling and Mary Jo (Ray) Labeau and several nieces and nephews. Patricia grew up in Wyandotte, Mi, and attended St. Patrick’s Catholic school before continuing her education at U of D Mercy. She started her nursing career at Wyandotte General Hospital and took a leave from nursing to raise her family. When she returned to the career she loved, you could find her working along Dr. R.J. Murray in Trenton for many years up until her retirement. In honoring Patti’s wishes, the family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
