Mrs. Merle A. Morton

Merle A. Morton, age 70 of Grosse Ile, passed away February 18, 2016. Loving wife of Don. Dear step mother of Bill (Laura) Southall, Susan (James) Hicks, and Christine (Mark) Galanty. Proud grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 4. Also survived by her beloved cat "Dudley". In her working years Merle was head of human resources for Channel 4 Detroit. She later became President of A&M Specialist, where she would build the company to the #1 ranking in the Michigan Corporate Private 100. Also establishing two firsts, first time Detroit based company, as well as the first minority operated. Merle was also the President of the Water-Wonderland Thunderbird Club.
