Mrs Mary H. Bellestri

Mary H. Bellestri, age 87, passed away on January 12, 2012. The daughter of Dewey and Lulu ((Norton) Fogle, Mary was born on July 30, 1925 in Monroe, MI. She married Joseph John Bellestri on April 22, 1943 in Monroe, sadly he preceded her in death on January 15, 1989. Mary will be missed by her son Joe (Cheryl) Bellestri; grandchildren, Tony Bellestri, Tani (Melissa) Bellestri, Kelly Meadows and Kim Meadows; as well as by an extended family of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Laura Riddle and Betty Melich. Mary was a fiercely independent woman with a bit of a stubborn streak, and even with failed eyesight she still faithfully followed her beloved Detroit sports teams on TV. Mary was known for her quick wit and warm heart, and all who knew and loved her will miss hearing her beautiful laugh. Family wiil receive friends from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Tuesday January 15, 2013 at the Allore Chapel-martenson family of Funeral Homes Monroe, where a private service for immediate family will follow.
