Mrs. Louise 'Mim' Carlson

Carlson, Louise "Mim", of Riverview, May 13, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Keith (2012), loving mother of Dr. Dean Carlson and Dr. Connie (Dr. Jonathan) Smith, dear sister of Alice (Dr. Joseph) Mottillo, Monica Jodocy, and Sister Theresa Jodocy. Preceded in death by brothers Fr. Matthias, Giles, and Marcel Jodocy; aunt of several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Carlson was a graduate of Northern Michigan University and earned an M.A. degree in education from Michigan State University.‎ She enjoyed a long career as a kindergarten teacher in the Southgate school system. A memorial mass will be held at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, Saturday May 21st at 9:30AM, with a memorial gathering from 9-9:30AM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in memory of Louise Carlson.
