Lee-Ann Fauser (Falletich) nee Chapman, 71, of Gibraltar, MI, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 after a lengthy battle with lung illness. Lee-Ann, a native of Southgate, was a proud graduate of Schafer High School class of 1960. Lee-Ann moved to Gibraltar in 1966 and was a devoted mother, active in her children's activities and sports. She never missed her son's sporting events, especially his baseball games, in which she was their biggest cheerleader. She was also very talented in sewing and crochet. Her second marriage brought the love of the "open road" and then the purchase of her own motorcycle. She would often be found riding next to her beloved husband Red Fauser on a sunny afternoon, usually stopping for a cold beer. Lee-Ann and Red raised and cared for a number of exotic birds in their later years, her home forever filled with the squawks and chirps of her beloved feathered friends. Lee-Ann was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. And she will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her. Lee-Ann leaves behind her loving children, Russell Falletich and Kimberly Falletich; a grandson, Brendon Falletich; and a sister, Pat Swope of MO. Lee-Ann is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald "Red" Fauser; mother, Millie Ruland; and father, George Chapman; her loving brother Bob (Robert) Chapman, and her sister, Donna Neubecker. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the Michigan Humane Society.
