April 14, 1921 — May 29, 2011

Mrs. Lavon "Bonnie" Kreitsch

Born in Franklin, Kansas, Bonnie was the daughter of Julius & Della (Watts) Russian. She married Marvin “Mike” Kreitsch on March 15, 1947. A devoted homemaker, Bonnie enjoyed gardening, dancing, playing cards, sewing and boating. But most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She was a past Girl Scout Leader, life member of Swan Boat Club, the Stony Point Peninsula WOW (women on the water) as well as past president of the Stony Point Peninsula Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to Mike, her husband of some 64 years, Bonnie is survived by her children: Sharon Nichols of Newport, Diane (Robert) Schwarz of Northville, Barbara (Charles) Johnson of Newport, Patricia (Mickey) Brazill of Monroe and Michele (Steven) Clute of Monroe. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law Sharlene Kreitsch of North Ft. Myers, Florida as well as 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Sadly Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; a son Ronald; two sisters: Doris Smith, Juanita Tis and 3 grandchildren.
