Mrs Karen M. Bartholomew

Karen M. Bartholomew, age 50, of Rockwood, MI passed away Sunday June 30, 2013. Karen was born September 14, 1962 in Detroit, MI to Robert and Margaret "Peg" (Willavage) Bindus Sr. She graduated from Inkster High School in 1980 and received her Bachelors Degree as a Para-Legal from Madonna University. Karen married David E. Bartholomew on June 22, 1985 in Cadillac, MI; they have made their home in the Rockwood area for over 20 years. Karen was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church Rockwood, she loved going to garage sales, painting, refurbishing old furniture and spending time with her neighbors and family. Karen is survived by her husband David, sons Thor and Ivan both at home; mother, Margaret Bindus of Rockwood; brother, Robert Bindus Jr of St Paul, MN; sister, Kathleen Miller of Belleville, MI; grandparents, George and Mable Willavage of Ludington, MI; she was preceded in death by her father, Robert in 1997.
