Judith Ann Magnuson, age 69 of Carleton, MI, entered into glory Friday, November 30th, 2012. Judie was born on April 29, 1943 in Davenport, IA to Willard and Virginia Peters. Judie graduated from High School in Marshall, IL and was married to Richard Guy Magnuson on May 20, 1961. Judie was an active member and served at Northbrook Church. Judie was an excellent seamstress and also enjoyed traveling, baking, gardening and spending time with her family and pets. Judie served as Worthy Matron of Silver Creek Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in LeClaire, IA with her husband Richard, and later as Worthy Matron of Fort Casper Chapter #4 Order of Eastern Star in Casper, WY. Judie was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, parents and two sisters Sharon Hildebrandt and Eloise Jones. Judie is survived by her loving children: Carma Peters and her son-in-law David Peters of Carleton, MI; her son Ronald J. Magnuson and daughter-in-law Shelly McKenzie-Magnuson of Brier, WA; and daughter Beth Ann Bolado of San Antonio, TX. Judie adored her six grandchildren: Jayson Peters of Wyandotte, MI; Kayla Peters of Carleton, MI; Ryan Magnuson; Jordan Magnuson and Kenneth McKenzie of Brier, WA and Madison Bolado of San Antonio, TX. Judie is also survived by her sisters Elsie Dodson, Estella McFadden and brother Fred Peters, all from the Quad City Area. A viewing will be held at the Northbrook Church for family and friends on Sunday, December 2nd from 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m., 12000 Jones Rd, Carleton, MI 48117. Funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 3p.m. at the church, officiated by Pastor David Jones. Judie will rest in peace with her husband at the Azalea Garden Mausoleum of Floral Hills Cemetery, 409 Filbert Rd., Lynwood, WA. Memorial donations may be made to the Northbrook Church-Malacatoya Fund, Alison's Hope for Hearing, or the American Kidney Foundation in honor of Judie.
