Dollie I. Harmon, age 83, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday December 4, 2013 at Sylvania Care & Rehab of Sylvania, Ohio. Dollie was born August 30, 1930 in Kildav, Ky to William and Molly Florence (Ayers) Hawkins, she attended school in Powell Valley, Tenn. Dollie married John Harmon June 24, 1947 and they moved to the Monroe area, sadly he preceded her in death on January 11, 1996. Dollie was employed at Milan Ford Plastics for 17 years, was the deli clerk at Casper's Market for 15 years and was in retail with the Family owned business for many years. Dollie enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing,cooking and loved being with her family. Dollie also enjoyed aerobics, she had memberships at Vic Tanny's and Life Styles for Women for many years. Dollie is survived by her children, Ronald (Ella) Harmon Sr. of Monroe, Kyiana (Dennis) Churchill of S. Rockwood, Debi Harmon-Ference of Lambertville and Fay (William) Mata of Monroe: siblings, Lee Hawkins, Marion Hawkins, Larry T. (Mildred) Hawkins all of Monroe, William Hawkins Jr., Jack (Bertha) Hawkins and Lois (Don) Keck all of Morristown, TN: grandchildren, Melissa (Michael) Bellenir, Ronald J. Harmon Jr., Angela (Matthew) Angelocci, William N. (Mellisa) Mata, Kaitlin and Brendan Bellinir, Jordan Harmon, Mara, Kyra and Ollie Webb, Madelyn Mata, Keaton, Lucas and Lillian Angelocci. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and a brother, Robert Hawkins.
