Mrs Beverly Harbaum

Beverly Harbaum, age 69, of Monroe formerly of Newport, passed away Thursday January 31, 2013 at Oakwood Hospital Dearborn, Michigan, she had been in declining health. Bev was born July 13, 1943 in Escanaba, Michigan to Ernie and Cecelia (Masta) Hansen, she married Charles T. Harbaum Jr. December 17, 1967 in Escanaba then moved to Lincoln Park, MI. till 1974 then moving to the Newport, MI. area. Bev was employed as a Nursing Assistant for many years at Frenchtown Nursing Center and Mercy Memorial Hospital; she was currently living in Mable H. Kehres Apartments Monroe. Bev enjoyed cooking, the Red Wings and the University of Michigan Football. She was a member of Monroe Senior Citizens and past member of St Charles Catholic Church Newport, MI. Bev is survived by her children, Charles Harbaum of Monroe, Ernie (Leann) Harbaum of Savannah, GA. and Mary (Jack) Gentner of Newport, MI; grandchildren, J.C. Gentner, Jody Petroff, Janis Hollenbeck, Lindsey O'Hehir, Jonathon Gilbert and Tyler Gilbert; great grandchildren, Ashley, Bryce and Dylan; brother, John (Sally) Hansen of Menominee, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, Don Hansen and Theresa Marsicek. Family and friends may gather from 2-8pm Sunday February 3, 2013 at the Ford Chapel-Allore Martenson Family of Funeral Homes 23620 N.Huron River Dr. Rockwood, MI. 48173 (734 379 9311), where the Rosary will be recited at 5pm that evening, and from 10am-12pm Monday February 4, 2013. Services will be held at 12pm Monday at the Ford Chapel, Fr John Britto Chinnappa, associate pastor of St Mary's Catholic Church Rockwood will officiate.
