Mrs. Betty Joyce Zgurich

Betty Joyce Zgurich, age 83 of Monroe, died December 16, 2012 at Mercy-Memorial Hospital. Born December 23, 1928 in Monroe, Betty was the daughter of John & Anna (Hurley) Miller. She married Joseph Zgurich on June 27, 1953. Sadly he preceded her in death January 8, 1994. An avid homemaker, Betty loved to cook. Betty leaves to cherish her memory her sons: Joe Zgurich of Monroe and Nick Zgurich of Erie; a brother Jack Miller of Roswell, New Mexico; grandchildren: Tina (Brian) Wasik and Tim (Angela) Zgurich; as well as three great grandchildren: Madison Wasik, Cadence Zgurich, Kaylee Zgurich; and her son-in-law Timothy Staggs of Grass Lake. In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by a daughter Crystal Zgurich-Staggs; three brothers: Harry Miller, Charles Miller, Roy Miller; two sisters: Myrtle Miller, Katherine Gessell; daughter-in-law Tammy Zgurich and good family friend Fred Polger.
