Mrs. Beatriz Diaz

Diaz, Beatriz. Age 84. January 18, 2014. Beatriz was born April 7, 1929 in Elota, Sinaloa, Mexico to Ramon and Regina (nee: Aro) Bracamontes. She married Ruben Diaz in Mexico in 1938 and they immigrated to the United States in 1956. Her husband preceded her in death in 1991. She is the loving mother to Jorge Ruben (Mary Pat), Marta Diaz (Scott Golding), Francisco (Melissa), Lorenzo and Rodolfo "Rudy". She is the proud grandmother "mama" of Amanda, Theresa (Curtis), Ruben and Nina and is also survived by other loving family and friends. Beatriz was the youngest of 12 children and all of her siblings preceded her in death. She will be most remembered for her love of life, her tenacious spirit, determination and good cheer as well as for having an open door to everyone. She loved to travel and play bingo and lived ever day to the fullest. One of the highlights of her life was being able to travel to and spend time in Spain. She was so loved and will forever be missed. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses
