Beatrice E. Martz, age 86, of Monroe, MI formerly of Cairo, Ohio, passed away Thursday November 21, 2013, she had been in declining health. Beatrice was born December 27, 1926 in Bluffton, Ohio to Adrian and Cecile (Lusk) Eversole, she graduated from Round Head High School in 1944 and attended Bowling Green University. She married Arthur Eugene Martz on March 26, 1946 in Cairo, Ohio sadly he preceded her in death on September 21, 2005. Bee moved to the Monroe area to be with her daughter Beverly. Bee enjoyed music, crocheting, baking, playing cards, scrabble and doing cross word puzzles. Bee also loved her mini trips with her 3 sisters and most of all she loved her family. Bee is survived by her daughter Beverly (William) Gessner of Monroe, MI; sons Bruce Martz of Fayette, Ohio, Blaine (Anita) Martz of Edgerton, Ohio; 3 grandsons, 2 step-grandsons, 4 great grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild. Bee was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, sons, Lowell Alan Martz and Thomas Eugene Martz. A Memorial Service to celebrate Bee's life will be at 11:00 AM December 6, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church 630 N. Monroe St Monroe, MI, Rev Ronald Schultz will officiate, with inurnment to follow at St Joseph Cemetery Monroe. Online condolences may be made at www.martenson.com.
