Mrs Anna L. Dijohn

Anna L. DiJohn, age 92, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday August 28, 2013 at 6:45 pm, she had been in declining health. Anna was born March 6, 1921 in Trenton, MI to Francis "Frank" and Mable (Anteau) Marino. She married Vincent DiJohn April 27, 1940 at St Joseph's Catholic Church Monroe; sadly he preceded her in death in September 1978. Anna was employed at St Mary's Academy as a housekeeper for many years; she started when she was 17 years old then took time off to raise her children and returned after her husband passed away. Anna enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family. Anna is survived by her children Barbara Collino and Theresa Ausmus both of Monroe, grandchildren, Deborah, Michael, David, Jamie, Michelle, Regina and Christopher, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, daughter Mary Ann Keene, sons- in- law, James M. Collino, Donald Keene and James W. Ausmus; siblings, Augustine Marino, Anthony Marino and Frances Sulfaro.
