Mrs. Ann Mary Roudi

Roudi, Ann Mary. Age 89, December 1, 2010 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Grosse Ile. Loving mother of Dennis (Pam). Proud grandmother of Katie and Evan. Dear Sister-in-law of Dordie Sverid, Donald (Corrine) Roudi. Aunt of Mickie Wilson, Sue Smith, Julie Sverid, Marsha Roudi and Michael Sverid. Survived also by several cousins and many close friends. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph Roudi and her two brothers, Michael and Victor Sverid and nephew Steve Sverid. Ann started her teaching career in a one room schoolhouse in Saginaw County in 1941. Her passion was teaching art and she developed the full time elementary art program for Flat Rock Schools. She was an avid bowler for many years and a long-time member of the Embroider’s Guild of America, Monguagon Chapter. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and creating many different types of art using watercolors, natural materials, and needlework.
