Mr William Joseph Dooley

William Joseph Dooley went home to be with the Lord Sunday evening, December 15, 2013. Joe passed away peacefully, in his home. Joe was born February 1, 1950 to Sewell E. and Jimmie (Allen) Dooley, He attended school in Monroe and proudly served his country in the US Navy, stationed in Viet Nam. Monroe Full Gospel Church was his home church and he was baptized by Rev Harold Raines. He was lovingly called Jo Jo by his friends and spent his entire adult life street preaching the word of God in the streets of Monroe. He was married to Martha Torres in 1971 in Watsonville, CA> He was preceded in death by his father Sewell Eugene Dooley and mother Jimmie Allen Dooley-Punko. He is survived by his step father, Richard Punko of Monroe; daughters, Lisa (Bryan) Dooley-Robichaud of Florida and Jo Ann (Brian) Dooley-Jackson of Arizonia; grandchildren, Ashley Edwards, Phillip Robichaud, Deshea Meely, Tyra Meely, Alvin Locke Jr., Allen Locke, Alex Locke and Sofia Jackson; great grandson Jediah Robichaud; siblings, Jr.(Tonya) Miller of Monroe, Jimmy (Kathy) Miller of Monroe, Una S. Agee of Monroe, Barbara Jean Williams of Monroe, Marcella (Gary) Sharpe of Ida, Sara Beth Miller of Monroe, Frieda Andrea (Joseph) Sauro of Monroe and Paula Eve (David) Strauss of Monroe; aunt, Una S. Mull of Monroe and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
