Mr William H. Bowlin

William H. Bowlin, age 61, of Monroe, passed away Monday March 4, 2013, he had been in declining health. Bill was born August 4, 1951 in Monroe to Guy James and Pearlie Lee (Broom) Bowlin, he attended Monroe Public Schools. Bill was a certified nurse's assistant for many years and his last employment was at Harbor House in Bolles Harbor for over 9 years. Bill married Jewell Smead on January 20, 2006 in Monroe; they were both members of Stewart Road Church of God. Bill and his wife enjoyed traveling to Kentucky and Tennessee to visit family and friends when ever they were able. Bill is survived by his wife Jewell; children, Billy Herrell Jr. of Monroe, Angela Bowlin of Middlesboro, Ky., Rebecca Daniels of Middlesboro, KY., Samantha Bowlin of Newport, MI. and Krystle Smead of Monroe; grandchildren, Harley, Kirsten and McKinley; siblings, Roy Bowlin of Tenn. and Lawrence (Linda) Bowlin of Raleigh, N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Juanita and Ethel Bowlin. In keeping with Bill's wishes cremation has been held
