Mr. Steven M. Bomia

Steven M. Bomia, age 45, of Erie, MI passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 14, 2015 in his home. Steve was born January 18, 1969 in Monroe, MI to Edward and Carol (Raymond) Bomia; he graduated from Mason High School in 1987. Steve served his apprenticeship in brick laying at Brick Trade School of Toledo Local #3 and became active in the trade. He enjoyed working out, lifting weights, riding his motorcycle, fishing, cooking and he especially loved spending time with his friends, family and daughter. Steve married the love of his life, Michelle Hensley on August 23, 2002 in Monroe, MI; they made their home in Erie. His memberships included St Joseph Catholic Church Erie and Brick Layers Local #3 of Toledo, OH. Steve is survived by his wife Michelle; children, Brandon Goodwin of Mulberry, Ill and Dakota Goodwin of LaSalle, MI; siblings, Edward (Angela) Bomia Jr. of Erie, MI, Corey (Melissa) Bomia of Erie, MI, Troy Bomia of Toledo, OH, Julie (Paul) Burgard of Erie, MI, Wendy (Jim) Gardiner of Erie, Mi and Joan Raymond of Erie, MI; mother, Carol Bomia of Erie, MI; granddaughter, Schaelynn Eads; and his four legged friend, "Chewey". He was preceded in death by his father Edward in 2013 and brother, Timothy in 1972.
