Mr. Scott T. Eggert

Scott Thomas Eggert age 50 of Sterling Hts longtime resident of Romeo, MI, peacefully passed away after many years of illness on May 27, 2015. He was born June 30, 1964 in Lansing, MI to Marion and Gerald Eggert. Scott is survived by our blended family mother Marion Gudinas (Leonard); father Gerald Eggert (Helen); brothers and sisters Leahann Clarke (John), Duane Eggert (Ana Maria), Brian Gudinas, Richard Sheppard (Lori), JerriLynn Eggert (Eric), Renee Gudinas, Sally Voyles (Raymond), Shawn Gudinas and many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Scott played football for Romeo High School but his love for the game did not end with his graduation as many knew him as the guy with the Detroit Lions gear on. He joined the US Navy soon after graduation. Proud as he was of the Lions the US Navy came first as evident of his many stories centered on the Navy. Scott will be buried at sea and a memorial will follow in the near future. The family would like to acknowledge at this time the extraordinary care the Veterans Hospital staff delivered. Scott will be remembered for his humor and strength during the challenges he faced.
