Mr. Ryan Nicholas Lindow, Sr.

RYAN N. LINDOW, SR., age 29, of Allen Park, passed away suddenly on December 27th, 2016. He is survived by wife, Pamela (Deyo), of Ypsilanti, and son Ryan Nicholas Jr., parents Ronald and Nancy (Ragen) Lindow, brother Ronald Lindow Jr.(Emily), grandfather, William Ragen, and a host of loving family members and friends that will miss him dearly. Ryan is preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Joyce Lindow, grandmother Charlotte Ragen, and uncle, John Ragen. Ryan was born February 16, 1987 and attended Allen Park schools. Led by his father, Ryan became active in Boy Scouts and later became an Eagle Scout, something they both took pride in. His love for the outdoors continued into adulthood. His smile shined the brightest when he could spend time under the stars or out in the sun, fishing and camping. He often spoke of how excited he was to take his son out and teach him everything he knew about the world. An avid reader, Ryan enjoyed talking about history and politics and was a jack of all trades both intellectually as well as being a true handyman. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and rarely met a stranger. If you had the pleasure of meeting him, you left him as a friend. Whether a simple barbecue or an elegant dinner Ryan enjoyed cooking for his wife, family and friends, and since the age of two he had been whipping up his delicacies. At the time of his death, Ryan worked for Detroit Diesel, most recently as a pipe fitter, a trade he was excited to master. Visitation will take place Sunday 1-9pm, Funeral Service Monday 12noon, at the Allen Park Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (corner of Goddard).
