Mr. Roger M. Connor

Roger M. Connor, age 65, of Monroe, MI passed away Sunday morning February 16, 2014 in his home after a brief illness. Roger was born in Monroe to Roy and Thelma (Littrell) Connor, he graduated from Monroe High School in 1967. Soon after graduation he was hired by Ford Motor Co. in Monroe, where he was a salvageman and welder for over 34 years, retiring in 1999. Roger married Mary Falcon March 26, 1993 in Monroe, they both enjoyed traveling to Frankenmuth, MI for Emmitt-Kelly figurines and dinning, he also enjoyed collecting anything that had to do with a wolf. Roger loved his family, grandchildren and his four legged friends. Roger is survived by his wife Mary; children, Brian (Kim) Connor of Dundee, MI, Jason (Jennifer Samples) Connor of Temperance, MI and Michelle (Daryle McCormick) Connor of Monroe, MI; step-mother, Opal Connor of Monroe, MI; grandchildren, Conner Greenlee and Jordan Killingback; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
