Mr Robert J. Coulter

Robert J. Coulter, age 71, of Flat Rock formerly of S.Rockwood, MI, passed away Friday March 8, 2013 in Ypsilanti, MI. He had been in declining health. Bob was born July 22, 1941 in Detroit, MI to Henry T. and Dorothy Louise (Yarchow) Coulter; he graduated from Denby High School in Detroit. Bob married Edith E. Berry December 17, 1983 at St Mark's Lutheran Church Flat Rock, she preceded him in death on December 23, 1995, and he was also formerly married to Stephanie (Deibel) Silver. Bob was employed as an electrician at Chrysler Trenton Engine for over 25 years, retiring in 1990. His memberships included St Mark's Lutheran Church, past member of Flat Rock Eagles and at one time he was a member of S.Rockwood Volunteer Fire Department where he obtained the rank of Assistant Chief. Bob is survived by his son, Curt (Jerilynn) Coulter of Chelsea, MI; granddaughter, Kristen Coulter, and a brother, David (Marguerite) Coulter of Deckerville, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and spouse.
