Hollingsworth, Michael L., Age 43, 5/28/1969-2/6/2013, Omaha, Nebraska Preceded in death by grandparents, Vernon M and Susan (Gill) Webb, Thomas and Floy (Parker) Hollingsworth; aunt, Nettie Barth and uncle, Frank Hollingsworth.Survived by significant other, Lauri Palmer, Omaha, NE; daughter, Sydney Leigh Hollingsworth, Albuquerque, NM; mother, Margaret Williams (Michael), S. Rockwood, MI; father, Lloyd L. Hollingsworth; brother, Christopher Hollingsworth; niece, Caitlyn Hollingsworth, all of Newport News, VA; daughter, Bre'anna Holcomb, Columbia, MO; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael was the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director at Ramada Plaza Omaha. He received the Silver Spoon Culinary Award in 2007. He was previously employed by The Lodge of Four Seasons, Lake of the Ozark, MO, Rancho Encantado, Santa Fe, NM and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts "La Rotisserie", Dearborn, MI. His joy and his love were cooking and paintball with Dirt Life, Those Guys and Fluffy Bunnies. Michael's team, the Fluffy Bunnies, participated in the Paintball World Cup, earning 1st Place in the Masters Division. A video tribute will be added Sunday February 17, 2013
