Mr. Michael Craig Skibinski

Michael died at his home from a one month battle with cancer. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 22, 1957 and was the son of the late Michael Scott of Ormand Beach, FL and Sylvia (Katie) Mattoch Briggs of Southfield, MI. Mike attended Castlewood High School in Castlewood, VA and was a 1976 graduate from SeaBreeze High School and graduate of Davenport University in Grand Rapids, MI. He was employed with Grand Rapids Transit. He was married to Susanne (Stephen) Skibinski. In addition to his wife of nine years and his mother, he is survived by his young son; Stephen (Stevie) Holt Skibinski, two sisters: Mrs. Julian (Kim) Thomas of Greenville, SC, Ms. LuAnne (Danni) Gorski of Southfield, MI and a brother; Mr. Emory (Joe) Sexton and his wife, Vicky of Seattle, WA; along with nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved cats, Jackson and Houdini and many friends. He will be deeply missed by all. A celebration of Mike's life took place at the home of his cousin, Randy Webb. 1250 S.
